Caring for Your Mubsie Nipples

Clean, healthy nipples mean comfortable, safe feeds for your baby. Here's everything you need to know.

✨ Before First Use

Wash the nipple with warm water and mild soap. Then boil it for 5 minutes and let it air dry.

🍼 Daily Cleaning

  • Rinse the nipple with water right after every feed, so milk doesn't dry and stick.
  • Wash it with warm water and mild soap before the next use.
  • Squeeze water through the nipple hole a few times to clear out any milk inside.
  • Clean the anti-colic vent gently, since milk can collect there.
  • Rinse well and let it air dry.

You can sterilize Mubsie nipples by boiling, with a steam sterilizer, or with an electric sterilizer. Avoid UV sterilizers, as they can shorten the nipple's life.

🌿 Getting Rid of Smells

Silicone can hold on to smells, especially from milk. This is normal and fades after a few boils.

For quicker results:

  1. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a bowl of water.
  2. Soak the nipple in it overnight.
